Information we collect

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name (if provided) and email address.
• Sign in with Google: If you choose to sign in using Google, we receive information from Google (via Supabase) such as your email address and basic profile information (like your name and profile picture, if available) to create and manage your account. We do not receive your Google password.
• Content you submit: We collect and store the JSON, templates, snippets, and related data you submit to the Service so we can provide features like your snippet library and history.
• Usage and device data: We may collect information about how you use the Service (for example, page views and feature interactions), plus basic device and browser information.
• Cookies / local storage: We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service.

What we do not collect

• Your plaintext password: Authentication is handled through Supabase. Passwords are not accessible to us in readable form.
• Full payment card details: Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Store and display your snippets and history at your request.
• Authenticate you and manage your account.
• Process subscriptions and purchases.
• Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.
• Communicate with you about Service-related updates.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, such as:

• Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel (to host and operate the Service).
• Database and authentication: Supabase (to store account data, snippets, and history; and to provide authentication).
• Third-party sign-in (Google): If you choose “Sign in with Google,” Google acts as an authentication provider and processes information according to its policies.
• Payments: Lemon Squeezy (to process payments, subscriptions, taxes, and related billing events).
• Analytics: Mixpanel (to understand usage and improve the Service).

We may also share information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ParseKit and our users.

Data retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as you maintain an account or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete content or request account deletion; some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, or security purposes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

• You can update account information from your account settings (where available).
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
• You can opt out of certain analytics via browser settings and cookie controls.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We rely on our service providers’ safeguards and applicable legal mechanisms where required.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and revise the “Last updated” date.
